• Green Skills for Rural Youth: Real Jobs, Real Impact

A new Germany–Georgia initiative is opening doors for young people in rural regions by providing accessible green vocational training and real job opportunities. Through the project, 100 youth from across Georgia will gain practical skills in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, waste management, and green entrepreneurship/eco-tourism—sectors that are vital for the green transition.

At the heart of the project is a digital educational platform. It hosts three interactive training modules, job vacancies, and networking tools designed to boost employability and connect participants with real opportunities in the green economy. The platform will remain active beyond the project’s end, ensuring long-term access to learning resources and career pathways.

The initiative also features a bilateral youth exchange in Tbilisi, bringing together 30 participants from Germany and Georgia for 10 days of environmental action and intercultural dialogue. Alongside mentoring, outreach, and inclusive support for women, persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and LGBTIQ+ youth, the project promotes equality and social inclusion at every step.

Coordinated by Bridging Europe e.V. (Germany) in partnership with the Civil Forum for Peace (Georgia), the program runs from June to December 2025. With a strong focus on practical training, inclusivity, and sustainability, it is more than just an educational project—it’s a pathway to real jobs and real impact in the green economy.
